    Odor-inhibiting chelating scavenger for hydrogen sulfide

    For industrial applications especially our Lohtragon® C73 is of interest acting as odor-inhibiting chelating agent for hydrogen sulfide. The environmental friendly production of biogas releases a substantial amount of hydrogen sulfide. This has not only an unpleasant odor, but has also toxic properties and is extremely corrosive in contact with water. The combustion product sulfur dioxide is equally aggressive and harmful to health. Therefore, hydrogen sulfide quickly has to be removed from all sources, including biogas, crude oil and natural gas. It can be added to slurries or suspension, too, whenever hydrogen sulfide occurs.

    Crop care – Improved plant growth and yield

    Lohtragon® C73 can be used as a micronutrient in fertilizers to provide essential iron for plant growth. By supplying iron, the Ferrous Gluconate based product helps in the synthesis of chlorophyll, which is vital for photosynthesis.
