Lohtragon^® B67, based on Sodium Formate (CAS No. 141-53-7), is a vital component in electroplating processes. As a buffering agent, it stabilizes the bath's pH, ensuring consistent plating quality. Its role as a mild reducing agent aids in the deposition of metal ions, particularly in non-cyanide silver and gold plating baths. Additionally, Sodium Formate functions as a complexing agent, controlling free metal ion concentrations for uniform metal deposition.
